GOLD RUSH FOR SAINTS GYMNASTS

Last Sunday, five gymnasts represented St Andrew’s School, Meads at the South East Schools Sports Acrobatics Championships in Guildford.

Izzy Chaloner and Matthew Price won gold in the U13 Mixed pairs section and Matthew then went on to win a second gold with his partner Anthony Tutt, in the U13 Boys Pairs competition.

Jess Rigby and Maria Emslie, who were representing the school for the last time, thoroughly deserved their bronze medals in a very closely fought competition in the U13 Girls Pairs.

Izzy, Matthew and Anthony will all go on to represent the South East region in the National Finals in Stoke in May.
