SCHOLARSHIP SUCCESS

Year 8 children at St Andrew’s School, Meads, have excelled themselves this year after winning a plethora of scholarships and awards to their senior schools for September.

Over 20 children were awarded scholarships in a wide range of disciplines including, sport, DT, music and drama. Acting Headmaster, Mr Marytn Ward said: “I would like to reiterate my congratulations to those children at St Andrew’s who won scholarships this year. It really is an impressive haul to a wide range of schools including Eastbourne College, Brighton College and Ardingly College. I could not be more proud of them.”

Recognition must also go to all the teaching staff at St Andrew’s who helped prepare and support the children in time for their exams.
