Eastbourne Business Partnership Design Challenge

Many congratulations to Daniel Carr, Josh Pankhurst and Martha Radford-Kirby who carried off all the honours at the above event last week. Apart from being the outright winners on the day, they were also the recipients of a special prize donated by the outgoing organiser of the competition whose brainchild it had been some fifteen years ago. His calculations revealed that St Andrew's has been the best performer in the competition's history and, thanks to his generosity, we now have a fine trophy to mark this achievement. Good designers are thinkers and problem solvers as much as makers and it should be remembered that this was a team event. It gives me special pleasure to see excellent thinking and teamwork rewarded in this way.
