Prep/Homework

Years 3 and 4 take home their reading books daily and are expected to read most evenings of the week. Spelling and times table lists for this age group are also sent home to be learned. On occasions, a task relating to a topic being taught within the classroom, is completed as homework. For years 5 to 8 prep falls within curriculum time and includes English, maths, science, history, geography and French. Prep periods are designed to provide an opportunity for reinforcing learning undertaken in class time and for independent study to take place.
