Mathematics

In Mathematics we help children to achieve competence at every stage.  In order to fulfil this goal, we adopt a variety of approaches. Children are grouped according to ability from age 8.  Number bonds and tables are learnt thoroughly and there are opportunities from an early age for handling and interpreting data, reinforcing basic skills and, at a later stage, exploring basic geometry. 

All children have access, at school and at home, to an internet based maths programme called Mathletics which offers comprehensive e-learning which inspires and motivates children, while teaching basic skills, reasoning, conceptual understanding and problem solving.
