Pupils benefit from specialist teaching in history, geography and religious studies, all of which are examined for entry to most senior schools. Knowledge, skills and understanding are developed through an interesting and well-structured curriculum that is significantly enhanced by a wide range of visits to places of historical interest, field study trips and visits to other places of educational interest. PSHE, (Personal Social and Health Education), is also taught at the Upper School stage. It covers all aspects of children's lives and is closely linked to RS (Religious Studies) as well as to the themes covered in Chapel and in assemblies. Good citizenship is actively promoted within the school.
