The Common Entrance examination, taken by children in Year 8, is the usual method of transfer to a senior school. Children move to a wide variety of senior schools, and in particular, Eastbourne College with whom St Andrew’s enjoys a close relationship.
Children are carefully prepared for the examination which requires written papers in English, maths, science, French, history, geography and religious studies. Latin is an optional paper. The Headmaster or Deputy Head - Academic is happy to advise on future senior schools.
