At St Andrew's we have an excellent reputation for providing an extremely high standard of dining for our pupils, prepared by our catering company, Holroyd Howe Independent. Our chefs use fresh and seasonal produce where possible.

Breakfast is served to boarders and comprises of cereals, fruit salads, yoghurt pots and a hot or cold daily special to keep pupils interested. Day pupils are also welcome to enjoy this provision if busy parents have to drop their children off early!

Lunch offers children a range of options:- homemade soups with fresh breads and accompaniments, healthy salad bar, jacket potatoes with fillings, pasta with sauces alongside the more traditional main courses and vegetarian meals, and of course tempting desserts. The younger pupils benefit from a ‘family style service’, where lunch is served at their tables by the teachers.

Supper is a more informal event, where we try to create a ‘home from home’ feel for the boarders. Meals are laid out in dishes on tables for pupils to help themselves, promoting choice and creating a relaxed ambience.

All our staff encourage children to make healthy choices and eat with the children at meal times in our light and airy dining room.
